My First Rocksbox! (Unboxing, Review, and A Special Gift For You!)

Hello Glams and Geeks! Welcome back to the blog! I’m really excited for today’s post as I’m sharing my very first Rocksbox unboxing with you! Before I unveil the contents of my Rocksbox, I will introduce you to Rocksbox and tell you a bit about them, and afterwards, I have a special surprise for my glams and geeks! So be sure to read through to find out what’s in store!

Introductions…

Let’s start by getting you acquainted. Rocksbox is a monthly subscription service for designer jewelry. They offer a ton of amazing designer brands such as House of Harlow, Kendra Scott, Gorjana, and more. Upon becoming a Rocksbox “Shine Insider”, you are asked to take their style survey to help them get to know you better. Based upon your style, they will present you with hundreds of gorgeous pieces from various designers that you can add to your wish list, which will help them to prepare your Rocksbox. The great thing about this service is that for $19.95 a month, you get to rent jewelry pieces that when added up, can cost anywhere over $200 or more. And, not to mention, you can return these pieces for new ones as often as you’d like, by simply packing up the contents of your Rocksbox, and sending it back to receive new ones at no extra cost. Each set comes with three pieces (Earrings, Necklace, and Bracelet) that is selected straight from your wish list, and is sent to you right away! The part I like most about them is that if you fall in love with a piece, you can buy it at a discounted price, and even use Monthly Shine ($10 monthly credit that Rocksbox gives you) towards buying that piece. Last but not least, I love that Rocksbox does their best to give you what you want, and offers a comment box that gives you the option to request specific pieces in your next box. It is a great way to get exactly what you want, and possibly snag it before it’s gone for good! Now that you know about them, let’s see what’s inside my very first Rocksbox!

The Unboxing…

Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Rose Quartz (Originally $80, Insiders Price $64)

This necklace is absolutely stunning, even more so in person. It features a genuine rose quartz pendant on a long gold chain. The length of the chain is perfect as you can wear it fully extended or wrap it around to create a layered look. As a statement piece, it will definitely be the main focus of any outfit, so I’d definitely wear it with a plain white tee and a pair of boyfriend jeans during the day, or wrapped around to compliment a nice dress and some sandals as a night time look. This necklace also comes in other color options, such as silver and other pendant options like white, cobalt, slate, and more.

House of Harlow 1960 Tessellation Triangles Pave Studs Set in Black (Originally $30, Insiders Price $24)

This stud set is perfect for just about any look! I love that you get a pair of solid triangular studs, and a pair of dangly studs which offers a nice variety. Both studs are in gold, the dangly pair in all gold and the solid pair features a black triangular stud on the top half, and tiny little rhinestones on the bottom half. Personally, I’m a sucker for studs, especially anything unique and edgy, so these fit perfectly with my style. Either pair can be worn with pretty much anything I own, as a large portion of my wardrobe consists of black clothing. I would be sure to style my hair accordingly as these are definitely meant to be shown off. So whether styled in a sleek low bun, or with my hair tucked behind my ears, or a full on Katniss braid, I’d recommend letting them be the center of attention when you wear them.

Gorjana Taner Wrapped Cuff in Black and Cream (Originally $60, Insiders Price $48)

I’ve seen a lot of unique jewelry, but this bracelet is definitely an eye catcher! The gold cuff is so sleek and dainty, and the black and cream thread wrapped around it was a perfect touch to make it stand out! This can be worn with any outfit, day or night, and is appropriate to accessorize just about any look, from formal wear to your everyday work attire!

Review
